Lorna has a seemly picture perfect life, one that she has worked very hard for.  She is a well respected and highly sought after therapist in end clinic and has an amazing husband, daughter, and stepson.

Lorna has a very big secret, one she has been trying to hide from for the past year.  In fact, it is the very reason she plans her life out the very minute.  Every minute must be accounted for so she does not spend that time thinking about her secret.

One day after a year she comes face to face with the man, Andrew, she was trying to forget in her clinic when he arrives as a new client.  Andrew has not been able to stop thinking about her either.

Against Lorna’s better judgment she contacts Andrew on a dating website, but when he turns up dead and messages continue to come in from him she begins to get frightened.  Who are these messages really coming from?  Is Andrew really dead?  Who else knows her secret?

My Thoughts:

Tell Me A Secret is a crazy ride of a read full of twists and turns along the way!  This is a very fast paced read and read the majority of this in a single day.

This story is told in multiple perspective alternating between Lorna and Niki though the timeline is continuous picking where the other left off.  In addition there is some backstory filled in with the use of Lorna’s past diary entries.  I really like the use of alternate story telling methods, I feel that it adds a bit of character to the text, and the use of the diary in this instance allowed for us to get more insight into Lorna’s secret.

I really thought that I had this one figured out, but there was a lot of misdirection going on, and boy was I surprised.  I did not see that one coming at all!  This story was well written and well thought out and will keep you and turning the pages until the very end.  Highly recommended.
